The funding will be used towards travel and other expenses for a Police Officer to attend the Advanced Homicide/Violent Crime Investigator Training. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): The International Homicide Investigators Association (IHIA) is the world's largest and fastest growing organization of homicide and death investigation professionals. The nonproft organization represents the largest network of homicide professionals and practitioners ever assembled. IHIA has invited the Hawaii County Police Department personnel to multiple training opportunities throughout the years.
