Additional federally-derived funds in the amount of$164,500 is being provided by the State of Hawaii, Department of Defense to support efforts to prevent, protect and respond to all threats and hazards within the context of terrorism. Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these additional funds into the Civil Defense State Homeland See Pgm FYI account, bringing the total appropriation to $764,500.
