Dear Chairman Chung and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Ross Birch of Council District 1 to the Banyan Drive
Hawaii Redevelopment Agency(BDHRA). Mr. Birch is currently the Executive Director
of the Island of Hawai'i Visitors Bureau.
Mr. Birch has been a resident of Hawaii for approximately 30 years and is active in
numerous community organizations such as the Hawai'i Island United Way, Japanese
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Hawai'i, Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce,
and others.
Mr. Birch states that he is not a member of any political party. If confirmed,
he will serve a full term to end May 31, 2024.
