WHEREAS , the United Public Workers (UPW) union will be
recognizing MR. HIROYUKI MORI of the Department of Parks and
Recreation for his many unselfish contributions to the labor
movement; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Mori has exhibited true dedication to the
UPW in their efforts to gain recognition as a labor organization
which has had significant impact on the lifestyles of our
communities ; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Mori' s untiring efforts have also extended to
the many community organizations which he belonged to in the
Kona district; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Mori is truly a man of exemplary leadership
qualities ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that it congratulates Mr. Hiroyuki Mori for his many
noteworthy accomplishments and encourages him to continue in
his unselfish dedication for a better quality of life for his
fellowman.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of
Hawaii transmit a true copy of this resolution to Mr. Hiroyuki
Mori.
