Resolution
WHEREAS, Section 2 of Ordinance No. 69 provides that the
County Council may by resolution approved by a majority of its
members, dispose of real property; and
WHEREAS, the cottages (2) located at Onekahakaha Beach and
Waimea Park are surplus and may be removed due to expansion of
parks.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1. In accordance with the provision of Ordinance No. 69,
the director of finance be authorized to dispose of the building
located at Onekahakaha Beach, Hilo, Hawaii, TMK: 2-1-14: 19
and at Waimea Park, Kamuela, Hawaii, TMK: 6-5-07: 2, by public
auction.
2. The director of finance to determine the date, place,
and reasonable terms and condition of the auction.
3. If no acceptable bids are received, that the buildings
be demolished and removed expeditiously.
