For over a year the Hawaii Island Humane Society has been charging the public for
each and every service they perform. This has lead to the dumping of hundreds of
pets, mostly cats. This County is now flooded with unwanted pets. ALL functions
of the Humane Society are funded by the County. Why should they be paid twice?
If the Board of Directors of the Hawaii Island Humane Society is persistent on
closing their meetings, let them come forward NOW
