Resolution
WHEREAS, the County Police and Fire facilities have relocated to the
new Waimea Civic Center;
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii no longer has any interest or use for the
old Waimea Courthouse Site covered under Executive Order No. 210;
WHEREAS, the Board of Land and Natural Resources under Agenda Item F-4
of its February 14, 1975 meeting acted to rescind Executive Order No. 210
and to reissue a new executive order for the court and fire facilities only;
so that the Waimea School facilities will be separated from the court and
fire facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that Executive Order No. 210 be cancelled and that all County-owned buildings
on the premise be quitclaimed to the State Department of Land and Natural
Resources.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be authorized and directed
to forward a copy of this resolution to 11r. William Y. Thompson, Mr. James Detor,
Mr. Roland Higashi, and Mrs. Mildred Yamamoto of the Department of Land and
Natural Resources; and to the Department of Public Works, County of Hawaii.
