Resolution
WHEREAS, Section 2 of Ordinance No. 69 provides that the
County Council may by resolution approved by a majority of its
members, dispose of real property; and
WHEREAS, the cottages (3) located at Konawaena High &
Intermediate School are surplus and may be removed due to the
phasing out of teacher housing units.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1. In accordance with the provision of Ordinance No. 69
the director of finance be authorized to dispose of the buildings
located at Konawaena High & Intermediate School, Kealakekua,
Hawaii, TMK: 8-1-02-38, by public auction.
2. The director of finance to determine the date, place,
and reasonable terms and condition of the auction.
3. If no acceptable bids are received, that the building
be demolished and removed expeditiously.
