NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII , STATE OF HAWA I I.
WHEREAS , the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of
June 1, 1978, approved the following name for a certain unnamed
roadway in the County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii:
Pacific Heights Subdivision, Kukuau 1st, South Hilo, Hawaii
Ka'anini Street - meaning round; to writhe , squirm,
as a fidgety child or one in a
tantrum; to go round and round,
as a dog greeting a friend
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the said roadway located in the County of Hawaii,
State of Hawaii, be named as follows :
Pacific Heights Subdivision, Kukuau 1st, South Hilo, Hawaii
Ka' anini Street - meaning round; to writhe, squirm,
as a fidgety child or one in a
tantrum; to go round and round,
as a dog greeting a friend
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 1st day of July , 1978.
