RESuLUTION NO. 274
WHEAEAS , Deissery Cabudol was selected as the 1978 Miss Hawaii-
Filipina at the recently concluded 9th Annual Miss Hawaii-Filipina
Pageant sponsored by the Filipino Hawaiian Jaycees; and
AILREAS , the deserving Miss Cabudol ' s victory was well earned
as there were seven other beautiful and talented contestants vying
for the prestigious title; and
WHE.RE,,S , as Miss hawaii-Filipina, Deissery can bring more
accolades to herself and to our island when she participates in the
State hiss nawaii-Filipina eageant in Honolulu on June 16, 1978.
NOI., , THEEFORE , 131' IT l'ESuLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that it hereby congratulates Deissery Cabudol for winning
the coveted title of Miss Hawaii-filipina and wishes her every
success at the 'State Miss Hawaii-Filipina Pageant competition.
DE IT fUATEILA RESOLVED that the County Clerk remit true copies
of this resolution to Deissery Cabudol; to her parents, Mr. and
11-s. Apolinano Cabudol; and to her sponsors, the Pahala Filipino
Club and Mr. Jaime Tomas.
