HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 269 Draft 01 1976-1980 County of Hawaii—State of Hawaii 269 Resolution No. RESOLUTION DESIGNATING FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK AS REFUNDING TRUSTEE UNDER A REFUNDING TRUST AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY DATED MAY 15, 1978; DESIGNATING FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK AS THE BANK UNDER A SECURITIES PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY DATED AS OF MAY 15, 1978; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING OFFICERS AND OFFICIALS OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII TO CARRY OUT THE TERMS AND PROVISIONS OF SAID REFUNDING TRUST AGREEMENT AND SECURITIES PURCHASE AGREEMENT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: Section 1. First Hawaiian Bank in Honolulu, Hawaii , is hereby designated as "Refunding Trustee" under the Refunding Trust Agreement dated as of May 15, 1978 as authorized and approved by Ordinance No. 354 enacted by this Council on May 15, 1978. Section 2. First Hawaiian Bank in Honolulu, Hawaii, is hereby designated as the "Bank" under the Securities Purchase Agreement dated as of May 15, 1978 authorized and approved by Ordinance No. 354 enacted by this Council on May 15, 1978. Section 3. The Mayor and Director of Finance and such other officers and officials of the County of Hawaii as may be appropriate are hereby authorized and directed to take such actions and execute such orders , receipts and other documentation as may be necessary in order to effectuate the terms and provisions of the Refunding Trust Agreement and the Securities Purchase Agreement. Section 4. This resolution shall take effect upon its adoption. Dated at Hilo, Hawaii , this 15th day of May, 1978.
