Enclosed for action is a resolution authorizing the sale of
three surplus teachers cottages at Konawaena High School.
These cottages are no longer needed by the Department of
Education; and have been returned to us for disposal since
they were county buildings prior to transfer of the education
function to the State-,

SUBJECT: SALE OF AND RE140VAL OF TEACTHERS COTTAGES.
KONAWAENA HIGH-SCHOOL
Effective July 1 1978, Hawaii. District, Department of Education has
out all of the teachers cottages at Konawaena High .& Interme-

di�ate School. Me have contacted the Hawaii Housing Authority for the return
of the cottages effective July 1, 1978. Of the 9 cottages affected, 6 of them

will be utilized by the Department of Education for educational use. Itis
.our desire to- have the remaining 3 cottages removed from the site.
