.. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> 7tE7;.*:•1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 41.9 19 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF FUNDS TO BE USED TOWARDS TUITION, <br /> TRAVEL AND OTHER EXPENSES TO ATTEND THE BELL <br /> TRAINING ACADEMY TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FIRE <br /> DEPARTMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, the Daniel Sayre Memorial Foundation is donating funds to the <br /> County of Hawaii Fire Department for training, tuition and travel costs to attend <br /> the Bell Training Academy in Fort Worth, Texas; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to send the Director of <br /> Maintenance for Helicopter Operations to this training; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Fire Department recommends approval <br /> of this donation by the Daniel Sayre Memorial Foundation; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides <br /> that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations of money, <br /> securities, or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; <br /> now therefore, <br />
