C) One was attacked by two dogs while riding her bicycle. The dogs clamped down and locked onto both 01 her legs.A friend saved her, but she has permanent scars. Another was walking on her property and was rushed by two pit bulls that knocked her over and started going for her throat. She ended up in the hospital with every bone in one hand broken. She was a caregiver for a paraplegic, and had to find people to take over for her. Her hand will never completely heal. The prosecutor decided not to prosecute. Another was a veterinarian assistant who was attacked by a German shepherd. She ended up with permanent nerve damage that caused ongoing pain, and had to quit her job and go through a nightmarish fight to get worker's compensation.
