Re: Proposed Amendments to Resolution 422-19, Resolution authorizing the payment of
funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one fiscal year for a multi-year lease of real
property for the County of Hawaii, Hawaii Fire Department
Please see below proposed amendments to Resolution No. 422-19, correcting the property
owner's name that should have been stated as a Hale Wailani Partners LLC. The proposed
amendments are shown in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 422-
19, material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken through, material to be added is underscored.
1. The third WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows:
"WHEREAS, with the consent of property owner Hale Wailani Partners [L -P] LLC,
lessee Anekona Ouli Kanehoa VFD Company desires to assign its lease to the County of Hawaii
Fire Department, to operate its 9 Bravo Volunteer Fire Station, for the balance of the lease period
of ninety-nine (99) years, which commenced June 5, 2014, and ends June 5, 2113; and"
2. The final RESOLVED clause is amended to read as follows:
"BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to: (1) Mayor Harry Kim; (2) Department of Finance; (3) Hawaii Fire Department;
(4) Keyra K. Wong, Deputy Corporation Counsel; (5) Hale Wailani Partners [L -P] LLC; and (6)
Anekona Ouli Kanehoa VFD Company, PO Box 7121, Kamuela, Hawaii, 96743.
A draft copy of proposed Resolution No. 422-19, Draft 2, has been intentionally omitted due to
