The Hawaii County Council is considering a bill that will make all parks and
roads in Hawaii County herbicide free. 1 am grateful for all that are on the
council that understand the importance of this bill. I regret I can not testify in
person but I have commitments on the manna and babies that were just born I
I
need to see.
I am sure you will pass this bill, am so happy about that. 1 have worked the last
several years with Bridgehouse Treatment Program residents and we have kept
two park pesticide free, Aliikai Park and the Pualani Estates Park. This is so
important to do for our next seven generations. Sadly the pesticides stay in the
bodies of the children exposed to them, the workers exposed and our mamma
earth and water. j

Grateful for Rebecca and all the hands that helped her do this bill,
especially Jenn Ruggles and Blake. Grateful to be part of Greener Hawaii and
have gladly worked the parks each month.
