This is an Agrieultual Island. It will be the Island that will be looked to for food and survival
in the future. 80%of our food comes from else where,why?Understand that the councils
misguided efforts to help the people by harming the very source that will help us all, our
farmers and ranchers, is not good for the people of Hawaii. Spend your time and your efforts
helping them grown their farms and ranches. Instead of being an obstacle. Closing dairies, or
focusing on climate change is not productive and not helpful. Focus on sustainability for our
and our children's future. Realize your greatest influence in right here, on this Island.

STRONGLY OPPOSE Bill 101 -Relating to Herbicide Use
Dear Hawaii County Council Members,
I Oppose this bill for several reasons.
1. Bans the Use of Producst to Control the Albezia Trees
2. Bans Product that help limit habitate for LIttle Fire Ant Populations
3. Removes important tools and choices to combat invasive plants and prenet noxius
weeds and invasive species.
4. I'm unwilling to bear the Cost associated with this Bili as a taxpayer.
Please consider the impacts of passing unfunded and un-researched Bills. What will be the real
cost to Hawaii County taxpayers $500,000 or$5 Million; The costs and impacts have not been
considered before submitting this Bill.
