Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 114, reports as follows:
Bill No. 114, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 604 dated
October 31, 2019, amends Ordinance No. 19-73, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County of
Hawaii for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2020.
This bill appropriates revenues in the Federal Grants—Local Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program
account($76,444); and appropriates the same to the Local JAG Program account. Funds would be used
by the Police Department to purchase a shooting simulator for its training program.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 114, and recommends
its passage on first reading.
