Dr. Kurashima is employed with the Kamehameha Schools <br /> as the Integrated Resource Manager in the Natural and Cultural Resources <br /> Department. <br /> Dr. Kurashima was born and raised in Hawai'i and is a graduate of the Kamehameha <br /> Schools-Kapalama. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation and <br /> Resources Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Science <br /> degree and a PhD in Botany from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. <br /> Dr. Kurashima volunteers with numerous community organizations. She states that she <br /> is a member of the Democratic Party.
