Dear Chairman Chung and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Patti Pinto of Council District 5 to the Puna Community
Development Plan Action Committee. Ms. Pinto is currently retired. Prior to her
retirement, she spent more than 26 years with the Sequoyah School, an independent K-
12 school in Pasadena, California where she last held the title of Director of Operations:.
Ms. Pinto has been a resident of Hawai'i for approximately 13 years. She previously
served in the Puna CDP Action Committee from 2011 to 2016 and served as
chairperson for 3 of those years.
Ms. Pinto is not a member not a member of any political party. If confirmed, she will
serve a 5-year term to end December 31, 2024
