Dear Chairman Chung and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Alexandra Kelepolo of Council District 2 to the Public
Access Open Space and Natural Resources Preservation Commission (PONC). Ms.
Kelepolo is presently employed as a Land Agent for Hawai'i Electric Light Company,
Inc. (HELCO). She previously worked for the County of Hawai'i as the Property
Management Technician.
Ms. Kelepolo was born and raised in Hawai'i and is a graduate of Konawaena High
School. She is active in our community and sits on the Board of Moku O Keawe Lands
Conservancy and an Island Council Member of the Hawaiian Islands Land Trust. Ms.
Kelepolo also volunteers for the American Red Cross, American Heart Association and
several other community organizations.
Ms. Kelepolo states she is not a member of any political party. If confirmed, she will
serve a 5-year term to end December 31, 2024.
