Mrs- Odo lives at 76-62'72 plurneria Road in liailua-Kotta. Her neighbors, Teiko and Moatta Kuuia, live at 76-6274 plumeria Road, and awn four dags, three of them fairly recently acquired. The three newaz dogs are all large, and two of [horn are, Mrs. Odo heheves, Ranweiters, with the other's breed u,illtawn, although it is evan larger than the 12onweiiers. Mrs. Odo has informed the t[ut site has catnp[ained to the Humane Satiety on a couple of accasions about the dogs, and that someone fram the Humane Society has ttdi:ed with the ICuntas. However, whatever has bceu done has had no effect wi,atsaevez, as the large dogs are still ailowul to roam "at lazge" in the neighburkrood and on Ivh•s. Odo's property. Althaugh Mrs. Odo ha; uo pazticular dislike of dags, she is eldezly and needs a walker to get around. It is now to die point that she is afraid to go out of her own house because, if one of the dogs was to came up to her, even in a friendly maruier, it could easily knack her dawn arul cause her serious injuries. I am writin; now to request that the Humane Society take appropriate action with respect to the abave problem: It is simply unfair that Mzs. Odo is "held prisoner" in hez awn home by her neighbors' failure to properly restrain their dogs, particularly when a zesalution of that problem would seem to be a specific function oY the Humane Society. Your prompt attention to this matter would be appreciated, as would a respattse catrcerning your intentions with respect to the pzobiern by no later than August 31, 1999. please contact me if you have any questions.
