This Bill by banning the use of"herbicides" is far too broad. The chemical component found in
RoundUp called glyphosate is not found in all herbicides. There are alternatives, including "all
natural" products that exist that can accomplish the same results, at a far lesser cost than to simply
ban "all" herbiciding. This, as are numerous forms of proposed legislation at the National,State, and
local level is rushed, and needs to be thought through with greater due diligence before being
passed. I would strongly encourage the County Council members to vote "NO" to this bill as it is
currently written. There is a solution.
