As a professional in the agronomic industry, I implore you to research the scientific data, and
not listen to the personal injury lawyer on TV. These pesticides are studied and safe when
used responsibly. Responsible use should be the end goal; not a ban.

STRONGLY OPPOSE Bill 101 -Relating to Herbicide Use -i
Dear Hawaii County Council Members, •
I Oppose this bill for several reasons.
1. Bans the Use of Producst to Control the Albezia Trees
2. Bans Product that help limit habitate for LIttle Fire Ant Populations
3. Removes important tools and choices to combat invasive plants and prenet noxius
weeds and invasive species.
4. I'm unwilling to bear the Cost associated with this Bill as a taxpayer.
Please consider the impacts of passing unfunded and un-researched Bills. What will be the real
cost to Hawaii County taxpayers $500,000 or$5 Million; The costs and impacts have not been
considered before submitting this Bill.
