Dear Council Members,
I have seen the havoc and misuse of herbicides such as Round Up on Hoaka Road, where I
live.
The havoc is the killing of all grass and vegetation along the road. The misuse is that the
workers
doing the spraying often spray directly from their truck, without any masks or special gear for
protection. I have felt for a long time that those in charge of the parks and roads are actually
killing their own workers, since Round Up and other herbicides are well-known probable
carcinogens.
