Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 120, reports as follows:
Bill No. 120, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 632 dated
November 14, 2019, amends Ordinance No. 19-73, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County of
Hawaii for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2020.
This bill appropriates revenues in the Fire Department Private Contributions account($125,000); and
appropriates the same to the Fire Department Private Contributions account. Funds provided by the
West Hawaii Community Health Center, Inc. would be used to purchase a motor vehicle and durable
medical equipment; and fund education, training, and software subscription.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 120, and recommends
its passage on first reading.
