Aloha HI County Council Members:
I'm writing re the WiFi in our public parks being provided soon by Spectrum....Has there been any thought as to the
EMFs that these hot spot devices will be emitting?This reality is now a very serious concern both in this country
and around the world.Many schools and businesses are dismantling their tech infrastructure in favor of fiber optics
&Ethernet connections,as there's been much documented research indicating ill effects&potentially severe health
risks associated with exposure to wireless technologies.It's great to be able to `connect' in our public places, but
not if doing so can harm the users& incidental local flora/fauna(bees,for example). I hope as sworn protectors of
public health you will scrutinize the details of the WiFi hot spots plan& insist on the proper measures to negate or
mitigate harmful elements of such!
