Dear Mr. Chung:
We wish to voice.our concern for the lack of proper Humane Society care in
West Hawaii.
We live in an agricultural area where there are many animals. We often get calls
from tenants with animal problems and refer them to the Humane Society.
Unfortunately, we hear later that the Humane Society did not respond or seemed
uncaring. This has often resulted in unhealthy situations for the neighborhood or
just plain disgusting messes.
The proper care of animals is very important. We urge you to respond to the
community's need for humane care of their animals.
