-NZY os ti4'' <br /> y� <br /> • \\II/4. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 442 20 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST WITH THE COST OF REPLACING <br /> VANDALIZED POOL CHAIR LIFTS AT CHARLES "SPARKY" KAWAMOTO SWIM <br /> STADIUM AND AT THE NAS SWIMMING POOL. <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Aquatics Section, operates the <br /> Charles "Sparky" Kawamoto Swim Stadium and the NAS Swimming Pool in Hilo for the benefit <br /> of the community; and <br /> WHEREAS, recent acts of vandalism at both facilities have damaged the pool chair lifts <br /> that help disabled or elderly persons access the swimming pools; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking assistance to replace the <br /> damaged pool chair lifts; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is committed to providing <br /> accessible aquatics facilities for the public; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation to purchase equipment to replace damaged pool chair lifts. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $7,250 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $7,250 <br /> CREDITED TO: Department of Parks and Recreation <br /> 010.500.5513.66 Aquatics Pools Eqpt $7,250 <br /> 480 Misc.
