'5;4-/_*- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> . •.off- J.'. <br /> '• �tE.OF•HF'� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 446 20 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br /> RECREATION WITH EXPENSES RELATED TO THE WEST HAWAII BAND. <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawai`i County Band was established in 1883 and has provided music <br /> for parades, concerts, festivals, ceremonies, and other special events throughout the Big Island <br /> for the past 136 years; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawai`i County Band is a program under the Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation, which also includes the West Hawai`i Band; and <br /> WHEREAS, the West Hawai`i Band provides musical services to residents and visitors <br /> throughout West Hawai`i; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has requested funds for the West <br /> Hawai`i Band for expenses related to bus transportation, music arrangement fees, supplies, and <br /> for the purchase or repair of equipment; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation for expenses related to the West Hawai`i Band. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5501.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $2,000 <br /> Hawai`i County Band OCE <br /> 225 Educ-Recreation-Scient Supplies <br /> (West Hawai`i Band) <br />
