COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 447 20
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
RECREATION TO PURCHASE NEW STAIRS FOR THE LAUPAHOEHOE
SWIMMING POOL.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Aquatics Section, provides a
diversified recreation program that addresses the needs and interests of the respective
communities in a safe environment with zero tolerance for illegal drugs and violence; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Aquatics Section, requests funds
to purchase new stairs to assure public safety for the Laupahoehoe Swimming Pool; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation, Aquatics Section, to purchase new stairs for the Laupahoehoe Swimming
Pool.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $7,000
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5513.66 Department of Parks and Recreation $7,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
