Aloha Kakahiaka City Council and To Whom This May Concern,
I wanted to take a moment to commend you and your efforts, as I know you jobs haven't
been the easiest.
I had written hilo city council a couple weeks ago and asked for the retainer of 10 million
dollars NOT BE GIVEN TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AS A RETAINER.
The situation on Mauna Kea has been burdensome for the past few months, needless to say the
POLOCE DEPARTMENT HAS NO JURISDICTION HERE IN THE KINGDOM OF
HAWAII.
The police department's have ALREADY GOTTEN PAID BACK FROM THE $11.4
MILLION that had been spent as of late.
There was a meeting that was conducted at Hilo City Council a couple months ago, the
CHIEF OF POLICE, MAYOR KIM, and ALL of the CITY COUNCIL, ALL AGREED
THEY HAVE NO JURISDICTION HERE IN OUR KINGDOM.
SO NEEDLESS TO SAY NO MONEY WILL BE GOING TO THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT FOR THE BIG ISLAND IN ANY COUNTY AS A RETAINER HOLD.
Also,NO MONIES SHALL BE SET ASIDE IN ANY OTHER ACCOUNTS TO BE SENT
OR EXTRAPOLATED OUT FOR BIG ISLAND POLICE DEPARTMENT'S OF ANY
KIND, AS A USE OF A RETAINER.
The fact of the matter is, there have been a lot of mismanaging of funds for far too long.
