RESOLUTION NO. 4S2 20
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE REFRIGERATION EQUIPMENT
FOR YANO HALL IN SOUTH KONA.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, plans,
conducts, arranges, and promotes organized recreation and athletic activities for all age groups at
recreation centers and facilities throughout the County of Hawai`i; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation rents its facilities for community
event and wants to provide refrigeration capacity for the sponsors of such event to keep food
safe; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase
refrigeration equipment for maintenance improvement at Yano Hall; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to Department of Parks
and Recreation to purchase refrigeration equipment for maintenace improvement at Yano Hall in
South Kona.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby.
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $800
CREDITED TO:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
