Subject: Return of Grants Funds from District Contingency Relief Funds for
Resolutions 211-19 and 217-19 .
Dear Chairman Chung and Members of the Hawaii County Council:
By letter dated November 4, 2019, the First Assembly of God, dba Convoy of Hope returned the
check in the amount of$4,000.00 issued to them pursuant to Hawai'i County Council
Resolutions 211-19 & 217-19. The check has been voided by First Assembly of God,for
reasons stated in the attached letter.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your generous donation to First Assembly of God DBA Convoy of
Hope Hawaii toward our Convoy of Hope Hawaii outreach that was held on the
Big Island in August 2019. Your generosity and donation means a lot to us.
However, we are returning the check in the amount of$4,000.00, check number
1089518 as we are unable to comply with all the requirements of the District
Contingency Fund Grant Agreement that we received in October. We have
voided the check for security purposes and it is enclosed for your reference and
recordkeeping.
We pray God's blessings upon you as you help the community there on the Big
Island.
