Dear Chairman Chung and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Nicole Lui of Kailua-Kona to the Cultural Resources
Commission. Ms. Lui is currently employed at the Kaloko-HonokOhau National
Historical Park where she assists with ethno-historical and archaeological reports.
Ms. Lui is a 52 year resident of Hawaii and had previously served on the Cultural
Resources Commission from 2013-2017.
Ms. Lui volunteers with numerous community organizations. She indicates that she is
not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, she will serve a 5-year term to end
December 31, 2024.
