Dear Chairman Chung and Council Members,
It is my pleasure to nominate Donna Mae Springer of Council District 4 to the Police
Commission. Ms. Springer retired from the County of Hawai'i in 2012 after more than
25 years of service. She currently works part-time for the Kamehameha Schools
Hawai'i campus.
Ms. Springer is a lifelong resident of Hawai'i. She was a volunteer for the Visitor Aloha
Society of Hawai'i and member of the Aloha Exchange Club of East Hawai'i. Ms.
Springer is not a member of any political party. If confirmed, she will serve a term to
end December 31, 2024.
