ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 , ARTICLE 10 , OF THE HAWAII COUNTY
CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO EXCEPTIONAL TREES .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAWAII :
SECTION 1 . Chapter 14 , Article 10 , of the Hawaii County Code,
1983 , is amended by adding one grove of approximately 600 mango
trees to the existing list of twenty five exceptional trees , as
follows :
"SECTION 14-65 . Designated Exceptional Trees .
The following trees are designated as 'Exceptional Trees of the
County of Hawaii ' :

TREE LOCATION OWNER
26 . Grove of Mangoes 1-3-08 County of Hawaii
Mangifera indica Pohoiki Road
SECTION 2 . Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material
is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets , bracketed
material and underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 3 . In the event that any portion of this ordinance is
declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other parts
of this ordinance.

SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval .
