[OsMt' <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> �� �''�-��'���• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ; : . . <br /> ,rE•OF•NI►� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 466 20 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF <br /> TWO BOAT MOTORS FROM THE KUKIO GOLF AND BEACH CLUB <br /> WHEREAS, the Kukio Golf and Beach Club is donating two 2014 150hp <br /> Mercury Verado motors to the Hawaii Fire Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, this equipment will be used for the Fire Department's Force <br /> rescue boat at their Kailua Station; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides <br /> that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations of money, <br /> securities or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate, <br /> and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (a) of the Hawaii County Code states that <br /> any gifts or donations of money, securities, or personal property which fall within the <br /> capitalization procedures of the Department of Finance, may be accepted by <br /> resolution approved by the Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii Fire Department recommends the acceptance of this <br /> donation; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, and <br /> Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162(a) of the Hawaii County Code, the Council of <br /> the County of Hawaii accepts this donation. <br />
