Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 128,reports as follows:
Bill No. 128, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 687 dated
December 20, 2019, amends Ordinance No. 19-73, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County
of Hawaii for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2020.
This bill increases revenues in the Federal Grants—Nutrition Services Incentive Program account
($20,000); and appropriates the same to the Nutrition Services Incentive Program account,bringing the
total appropriation to $120,000. Funds will be used for home delivered meal services for the elderly.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 128, and recommends
its passage on first reading.
