Aloha County Council Members,
Mahalo nui for all your hard work and dedication to the betterment of our very special Hawaii
Island community. I trust that you all work for the people and care deeply about our collective
health and the health of our environment.
Therefore, I continue to urge you all to please uphold the vote by the Council to begin the
• transition away from Herbicide reliance within the county. This is so overdue and is a huge
step in the right direction. I am appalled that Mayor Kim has vetoed this Bill and truly hope
that the process of checks and balance in the county can be upheld with you folks.
It is imperative that we do what is right for our collective wellness!! Please over-ride the veto
and uphold Bill 101.
