I am writing to urge you to override Mayor Kim's veto of bill 101. This issue has been of
concern to many county residents for quite a while, as you can see from the attached letter I
wrote to Mayor Kim last year. It will only become more so as time goes on and the
detrimental effects of glyphosate is increasingly documented. Additionally, not to act to
discontinue the use of these chemicals will in all likelihood open the county to the possibility
of lawsuits for damages, since the effects of these chemicals are now well known. Please do
the right thing and override Mayor Kim's veto.
