Aloha Council Members,
I have been teaching for 20 years in Hawaii Public Schools. I've been a resident of Big Island for 37 years.
I STRONGLY OPPOSE THE USE OF CHEMICALS ON OUR ROADWAYS,IN OUR PARKS AND ON ALL
PUBLIC LANDS,ESPECIALLY PUBLIC SCHOOL GROUNDS.
It is a crying shame that Mayor Kim vetoed Bill 101. It is critical that we override his veto and have Bill 101
become law.
Please represent your constituents who overwhelmingly oppose the use of poisons on our island home. I will be in
the classroom during the Council hearing on Wednesday or else I would testify.
