I support the ban of Glyposate (Round Up) herbicide.
I am a beekeeper and testing has found 1/3 of the Kauai honey containing this compound. I do not
have Big Island testing figures but have expectations that this product, a known carcinogen, is
entering our food chain through honey and most likely through other island grown food sources. I
do not believe roadside weed control is of sufficient benefit for continued use of this product,when
it is highly likely we are eating it. Let's start reducing large scale usage of Glyposate and begin to
reduce sources of exposure- pass this ban.
