Aloha County Council,
This is my testimony to request you vote to override Kim's veto of Bill 101,prohibiting the use of toxic herbicides
on county owned parks and roadways.
I have an asthma condition,like many other Hawaii residents,and I've found that exposing myself to chemicals like
herbicides and pesticides affects my respiratory system making it difficult for me to breath and maintain focus. I
respectfully request you override Kim's veto and properly represent your constituents by keeping our parks and
roadways safe from hazardous and carcinogenic substances. Being the council who allowed our keiki to get sick
from known harmful agents,I'm sure that's not the legacy you want to be remembered for.
