Aloha, I am writing to you today to ask you to please override Mayor Kim's veto of Bill 101, prohibiting the use of
toxic herbicides on county owned parks and roadways. We know this is possible, it's happening in California,
Australia, Europe and other places in the world. The citizens of Hawaii are wanting less toxins in their lives,there
are non-toxic alternatives to herbicides, including what my company offers. If you are on the fence, you can
always try no herbicides for a few years and then go back to old ways if you think its not working. To me, it doesn't
make sense to continue poisoning the'aina when you don't have to.
