I ask you to please support bill 101_that would prohibit the use of toxic pesticides and herbicides on all
county owned parks, roads, bikeways, sidewalks, trails, drainageways, and waterways.
Those of us who came to Hawaii came to appreciate nature, not pesticides!We have enough of those on
the mainland. I was shocked that Monsanto was allowed on the islands ...all pesticides end up in the
ocean here, but I guess you don't swim or snorkel? Sorry, but these things make me very upset! Cancer
is already rising on the islands ....please stop thinking of money only! Nobody really wins in this. We need
to preserve nature and don't need pesticides on playgrounds.
