Additional state funds in the amount of$375,000 are being provided <br /> by the Enhanced 911 Board to be used towards the purchase of a backup generator for Fire <br /> Dispatch and furniture for Police Dispatch. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the Hawaii County Police Wireless E911Grant account, bringing the total <br /> appropriation to $1,875,000. <br /> The Police Department requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and be placed <br /> on the February 5, 2020 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
