SUBJECT: Request for monthly progress report from Recovery Team
By means of this communication I am requesting a 15 minute update followed bya' 30 minute
discussion with the Recovery Team on progress being made to complete priorities listed in the
Interim Recovery Strategy, specifically completed drafts of the comprehensive recovery plan by
TetraTech and the economic recovery strategy by the Institute for Sustainable Development.
Any updates around planned community touch points,the Puna Strong grants program, case
management and infrastructure restoration would also be appreciated.
Please place this on the February 4,2020 agenda of the Committee on Governmental Relations and
Economic Development. Thank you.
