Dear Honorable Council Members
I have heard the issues on both sides of the argument regarding Bill 101. I understand that this is not an easy
choice for some of you to make, as the intent is undisputed, and I respect views on both side.
However, as a steward of bees, I recognize the global importance of these creatures and feel we cannot be short-
sighted and ignore the implications of a world without them. This sounds overdramatic, but nations are as
worried as I am at the rapid decline of bees, and to contemplate a future without them is to contemplate our
demise.
Caring and protecting bees has to start at home, and that means limiting the use of herbicides that do real harm
to them. I ask that you support Bill 101 for the health of the bees and the health of our planet.
