Subject: Spraying herbicides on County Roads
I support bill 101. Bill 101 bans the use of herbicides by "the County" on County owned lands. I am a small
farmer and beekeeper. There is currently evidence showing that herbicides currently being used have adverse
effects not just on our animals and pollinators but also human health. I feel strongly about keeping these
herbicides from being sprayed in our environment on the Big Island.
